The ‘Secret Of Mana’ Remake Is Getting An Additional But Limited Physical Release Next Year

The ‘Secret of Mana’ remake will get a limited physical release.

The upcoming remake of Secret of Mana, or Seiken Densetsu 2, will be getting a limited quantity of physical boxed versions of the game for the PS4 once it is released next year.

While the Secret of Mana remake is coming to PS4, Vita and PC, only the PS4 version will get this physical version. In addition, it looks like this will be only available in the U.S. and Canada, as well as certain parts of Latin America.

If you want to have a physical version of the game with the very nice and classic cover art (shown below) then you will need to go to GameStop in the U.S. or EB Games in Canada and pick one up.

Alternatively, you can digitally pre-order the game prior to its release on February 15 on all the platforms listed above.

The boxed version for the ‘Secret of Mana’ remake retains the classic cover art.

While it is nice to see that the Secret of Mana remake will get a physical release, albeit a limited one, I still really hope that Square Enix release the Secret of Mana Collection on the Switch in the West.

Not only because it allows you to play the original games as how they were intended but also due to the fact that it includes Seiken Densetsu 3. This was an utterly fantastic game and it never came out in the West.

Anyway, we still have this Secret of Mana remake to look forward to on PS4, Vita and PC when it is finally released on February 15 next year.
